TRS has been continued its attention on assigned lands in Telangana. Telangana Government was razed illegal constructions in Gurukul Trust and Ayyappa Society lands and seized some other buildings. Reportedly, Telangana government set its next target as Manikonda lands. TRS Government has planned to work towards to take back all encroached lands. Now there is another buzz that makes round is APNGO Housing Society lands. TRS Government wants to take back all assigned lands to APNGO Housing Society in Goganapalli. Ranga Reddy Collector submits report to Revenue Department in this regard. In 1992, former Chief Minister Kotla Vijaya Bhaskar Reddy assigned 477 acres to APNGOs who worked in Hyderabad. These lands exist under survey nos 36 and 37 in Ranga Reddy district. APNGOs, TNGOs, Secretariat and High Court employees formed as association to prevent disputes in distributed lands. In 2003-04, Government assigned this land to that association. APNGOs got the quota of 189 acres as its share. Some of the employees have planned to construct the houses in their assigned land. Now decision of TRS government on take back of these lands causes many fears among APNGOs. They felt that TRS Government took revenge on APNGOs and seeks to face this issue legally in the court.
