This may sound strange but the TRS party is all set to net a big fish in Khammam district of Telangana by roping in a prominent Kamma leader. The important point is, this Kamma leader hails from the Telugu Desam Party so it is one shot- two birds for TRS.
Sources say that TDP leader Thummala Nageshwar Rao, former minister in TDP regime and key leader for the party in the district is reportedly taking a plunge into TRS very soon. This was more like a rumor sometime back but now it might become a reality.
It is heard that TDP boss Naidu and Thummala are not seeing eye to eye these days and he was conspicuous by his absence at the grand Mahanadu recently. He feels Naidu has given more prominence to capitalist coterie by promoting his junior Nama Nageswara Rao for last few years.
Although TDP is reportedly trying hard to contact him, there are reports that his plunge into TRS is more or less decided while TRS has promised MLC seat and Minister post to this Kamma leader from a Kamma dominated district with least T-sentiment!
