One word every Indian politician can be attached with is Hypocrisy. When they do, it’s for the benefit of people, when others do, it’s unconstitutional and undemocratic.
Polavaram ordinance is one such example. TRS and T-congress claim decision is unidirectional and only for the benefit of Andhra people. Joining of project affected villages in Andhrapradesh is illegal and they are considering approaching Supreme Court. This ordinance was prepared in UPA rule. Up then, no congress leader opposed the bill. When NDA passed the same in parliament, it is wrong and unethical. T-Congress leaders short memory is plausible. They completely forgot how Telangana bill was passed in parliament by switching off live cameras and continuous protests of Andhra MPs.
KCR and his entire team are clearly aware of the Telanagana bill and its contents. KCR himself voted for the bill in parliament. Whether the TRS team voted for the bill without reading it or they are just blind. KCR, Who is very much part of bill preparation, knows the clauses and rules of bill and addition of villages to Andhrapradesh. After the formation state, everything becomes unconstitutional. KCR government can find out new rules of nativity from the record books from 1956 for fees reimbursement but mandals which are part of Andhrapradesh earlier can’t be given back.
KCR, who cheated entire telangana on Polavaram, now wants to pass on the blame to Andhra people and CBN which is quite immature and irrational. Even after the elections, TRS continues with their divisive politics and agitating people versus people. Hopeless politics like these and hypocrisy may not last longer and People of both states will end their rule soon.
