Telangana Government slowness in responding on fee reimbursement to Andhra students in Telangana pushed KCR into troubles. It seems that Telangana government has dragging the issue in the name of Local Criteria. By this, EAMCET counseling is delaying for the students. This causes worrisome to parents and fear of their children future. As per the AP Reorganization bill 2014, students are enjoying admissions in all Central Universities for next 10 years.
Andhra Pradesh Government alleged that KCR is intentionally violate the provision in the bill. KCR wants to give fee reimbursement to Telangana students only. TRS has planned to consider the father of the student should born in Telangana before 1956 as local criteria. Later, Telangana Government wants to change it to 1974 and not officially confirmed. AP Chief Minister CBN wrote a letter to KCR and asked to take appropriate action in this regard.
CBN has met Governor EL Narasimhan and raised this issue. CBN requests the Governor personal intervention in fee Reimbursement. On each passing day, CBN actions would troublesome KCR. Indirectly, CBN wants take this issue to Centre Government. TRS is not willing to increase powers to Governor as per the bill. Telangana Government rejects NDA Government proposal when latter seeking Telangana Government opinion. KCR forced NDA Government to rethink on increasing Governor’s powers in this Fee Reimbursement.
