In a marathon meeting which had lasted for more than five hours, the chief minister of Telangana K Chandrasekhar Rao reportedly promised Telangana Inc that the state government is all set to open a single window clearance (SWC) system.
He has reportedly declared that this would be better' than Singapore, touted as the best in the world. This according to the government would make things easier for doing business in the state.
KCR has reportedly promised to come up with the new policy in 20-22 days and assured that this won’t be just hype or cosmetic window-dressing. He also assured that chief minister's office (CMO) would be directly monitoring the SWC system.
This is to make sure all the necessary clearances are offered to investors in one shot and they need not waste time doing the rounds at various government offices. Well if Babu is after Singapore dreams, it looks like KCR wants to take Telangana a notch higher than Singapore.
