Unidentified persons posing as cops tried to abduct him, High Court advocate P Sudhakar Reddy lodged a complaint with the Banjara Hills police on Tuesday night. A little later, Nellore police also lodged a complaint against the advocate alleging that he had obstructed them from performing their duties.
At 6.30 pm on Tuesday, a team of Indukur police in Nellore district intercepted the car of Sudhakar Reddy on Road No.13, Banjara Hills, to check if the recently-kidnapped ZPTC member, Venkata Ratnam, was with him.
An argument ensued and realizing that the ZPTC member was not in the car, Indukur police left, Banjara Hills inspector P Murali Krishna said. But the advocate lodged a complaint with Banjara Hills police alleging that unidentified persons posing as police personnel tried to kidnap him.
