Is the State Bifurcation slowly snapping ties between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana? Did the people of AP reduced their visits to Hyderabad? 'Yes' seems to be the answer. Reduction in Vehicles flow is observed between Vijayawada and Hyderabad. In last year may, 4.16 Lakhs vehicles passed through the Kesara Toll Plaza near Nandigama, this year it is only 4.08 Lakhs. In the month of June from when the state is bifurcated,  3.16 Lakhs vehicles passed through this toll plaza while last year it is 3.70 Lakhs. In July this year, 3.05 Lakhs vehicles used this route while in the same time last year, the count is 3.16 Lakhs. Experts say that the flow of vehicles coming on official and business person certainly got reduced. Vijayawada-Hyderabad is one of the most profitable routes for RTC. But the Occupancy route in this route is slowly falling down. The Occupancy rate in June is 82-85% and it has fallen down to 76% in July. The Occupancy rate is 80% in last July which indicates that bifurcation certainly has an impact. On the other side, few experts say the business is down due to Ashadamasam and the impact of  state bifurcation can be felt only after 6 months.
