With the Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu staying focused currently on Andhra Pradesh with his official position as the Chief Minister, sources say that the mantle of Telangana is now entrusted with Nara Lokesh and Pawan Kalyan.
This was reportedly evident in the manner in which both of them had not visited gas pipeline blast victims in Godavari district but were quick enough to respond to Medak level crossing disaster. Pawan Kalyan rushed to hospital while Lokesh went ahead to distribute cheques to affected families.
AP CM and TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu is reportedly planning to make Lokesh as the face of TDP in TS region given the fact that the party still has cadre but is lacking motivating leaders.
Hence it is being said that for next couple of years, while Pawan Kalyan would help TDP to focus on the interests of settlers in Hyderabad, Lokesh with help from leaders like Revanth Reddy are expected to make foray into rural Telangana.
