The TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu’s desire to give back his token of gratitude to Rajya Sabha MP and his close aide Sujana Chowdary may be headed towards a road block. Chowdary played a key role during the 2014 elections and sources say his financial support was massive for the party. There are reports that during the next phase of cabinet expansion, CBN is reportedly lobbying for a ministerial post to his close confidante Sujana Chowdary. But it appears that Prime Minister Narendra Modi may not be interested in this. It is heard that some of the TDP leaders and then BJP leaders are lobbying against this move with Modi. They are reportedly saying Chowdary has Enforcement Directorate cases pending against him and also added that he voted in favor of UPA during vote on FDI in Retail. With all these reports, Modi is reportedly not that keen to grant any ministerial berth as and when TDP is given a chance in second round of ministerial expansion. But Naidu is known for his master strategies so nothing can be told for sure till the final list is out.
