Recently, looking at the fee reimbursement issue, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu had proposed that for those Andhra students who are living in Telangana, AP government is willing to shell out 58 percent.
Whereas Telangana should be able to cough up rest 42 percent, which according to Naidu was a win-win solution. However, KCR was particular about pre-1956 as a benchmark for fee reimbursements as per ‘FAST’ scheme.
Now sources say that looking at how Telangana State is being countered by Supreme court in terms of education, there is reportedly a rethink going on currently in the government of Telangana.
Experts are suggesting that sooner or later, TS may have to agree to the compromise formula suggested by Chandrababu and may be with few changes from their side to indicate that they haven’t also climbed down much.
