Wedding bells are ringing at World-rank Chess player Koneru Humpy's residence in Vijayawada. The prominent Chess player is getting married tonight in Vijayawada. Humpy has engaged to Dasari Anvesh, son of Industrialist Dasari Ramakrishna, CEO of Efftronics Private Limited, on May 22 at a low-profile family affair.
The marriage is scheduled tonight and it will take place at 'A Convention Center' in Vijayawada.Many political and film personalities are expected to attend and bless the couple. Hampi is from Gudivada in Krishna district and she is ranked number 3 in the women category of World Chess. She won Arjuna award at the age of 16 and in 2007 she surpassed the rating of 2577 set by Susan Polgar to become the second-highest ranked female player
Meanwhile, Humpy is busy preparing for FIDE Grand Prix to be held at Georgia from June 16. While Georgia match is the third of four compulsory Grand Prix fixtures Humpy have to be play to qualify for the world title, Humpy is going to play the fourth at Mongolia on August 24, very soon after her marriage.Wishing the talented lady a happy married life.
