The TRS boss and the first chief minister of Telangana state KCR is all out against Telugu Desam Party and wants to ensure that the cycle party is decimated in the Telangana region. His latest focus seems to be Khammam district.
Well aware that Khammam is a tough nut to crack, it is heard that KCR has also gone to the extent of wooing Kamma leaders here, who are considered his bête noire. As part of this, KCR had been wooing Thummala Nageshwar Rao.
Reports say Thummala is also upset with TDP leadership over its importance to Nama Nageshwar Rao. Sensing that it may not take much time for TRS to trap Thummala and finally enter Khammam, Naidu reportedly gave a green signal.
And he has ensured that his candidate is appointed as the ZP Chairman in the recent districts local polls. This has reportedly calmed him down. The political analysts say though it may look beneficial now, it is better for the leaders if they stick to TDP for a long term benefit.
