The Telangana IT Minister Kalvakuntla Rama Rao(KTR) has been saying time and again that he intends to convert Hyderabad (common capital for AP and Telangana for 10 years) into a free Wi-Fi zone.But Normal Hyderabad citizen needs electricity and not free Wi-Fi.
If the power crisis continues in the state, Telangana will lose out on lucrative business opportunities and this is bound to impact the city in all angels. Continuous power crisis means that the city’s image both nationally and internationally will loss utterly. But ‘power’ remains a huge problem for Telangana state especially Hyderabad city.
Neither are they in a position to procure power from neighboring states nor are they in a position to generate power on their own. Hyderabad citizens expresses their feeling in public like, Telangana government must spend money on generating more power than spending on making the city a Wi-Fi zone. It will benefit the Hyderabad city economically if the T ministers focused on making Hyderabad a city with zero power cuts like neighborhood state andhrapradesh.
