For the last three months, the ban on the two famous media channels TV 9 and Andhra Jyothi in Telangana has now taken an interesting turn. Things got aggravated after the Telangana CM KCR gave an outright warning to entire media in his meet at Warangal. Sources say that now with the direct intervention of Press council of India now which is sending a team today on September 13 to give a report within 15 days has reportedly made the TRS government jittery. There are reports that this issue had figured in talks between TS CM Chandrasekhar Rao and Governor Narasimhan during their three hour-long meeting yesterday at Raj Bhavan. The TRS government is facing severe criticism for their chief’s remarks. It is being said that in case the Press Council strongly reprimands KCR government, the government itself may be dragged to the court with some unpleasant consequences! All eyes are now on KCR to see whether he would seek an amicable solution or go in his regular feudal way.
