The endowments department of AP is all set for a movement with reports that it is getting ready to make use of unused buildings on the banks of the River Krishna in Seetanagaram area of Guntur district as the headquarters. The department is reportedly ensuring that these buildings are first vastu compliant before the actual moving in. Endowments minister P. Manikyala Rao had been saying off late that the headquarters of the department would be soon moved to any place around Vijayawada, the state capital. Officials have reportedly decided to establish the office of the endowments commissioner after much searching, finally at the tourist house in Seetanagaram, close to River Krishna. The endowments department reportedly built a two-storeyed building. This is for the purpose of tourists at a cost of Rs 2.40 crore in 2012 which wasn’t inaugurated due to several reasons. Its location opposite to the Kanakadurga temple is being considered auspicious.
