Visakhapatnam loses High Court to Vijayawada, The ministers’ sub-committee constituted for land acquisition has stated that Assembly, Secretariat, High Court, Offices and houses of Head of the departments will be constructed during the first phase of construction in the capital city.
So, it is to be understood that Vizag has lost the High Court to Vijayawada. People of Visakhapatnam city are quite happy when they first hear about Shivaramakrishnan committee recommendations about setting-up state High Court at Visakhapatnam, but they are quite disappointed after sub-committee’s announcement.
However, they are very hopeful about getting Railway zone, Metro rail, Industrial and IT corridors. In same way, other districts in state are also waiting for their turn.
