The Union Minister of Commerce Nirmala Sitaraman has reportedly said that the central government would be releasing ample funds for the state of Andhra Pradesh after October 15 reiterating that BJP government is committed for the development of AP.
The minister recently participated in Swachh Bharat programme organised along with CM N Chandrababu Naidu where she said that central government is working behind the scenes on providing special category status to AP.
Nirmala Sitaraman also added that BJP and TD would be working together for the development of AP and brushed aside rumors that other states have stalled special category status to AP. So after October 14, AP might be expecting a movement in this side too!
There were speculations that one major reason why Nirmala Sitaraman’s husband Parakala Prabhakar getting Media advisor post was to make sure that this ministers’ clout is used maximum for AP’s development!
