The Chief Ministers of the Telugu States who usually brandish swords on each other have come up together once again. They have exchanged an affectionate hug at the Alai Balai program arranged by BJP Senior Leader and Secunderabad MP Bandaru Dattatreya. The people present at the event say KCR was hesitant first but Dattatreya made that hug happen.
Chandrababu arrived a little late to the event. He came there when KCR has finished his speech and then Dattatreya made this hug happen. The event took place at Jal Vihar, Necklace Road on Sunday afternoon. The event took place irrespective of party lines. Governor ESL Narasimhan, Telangana Speaker Madhusudhana Chari, Harish Rao, Council Chairman Swamy Goud, Etela, Talasani, Errabelli, Revanth Reddy and others attended the event.
The program is happening from the last 10 years in the organizing of Bandaru Dattatreya. Governor expressed his happiness in participating in the event and said both the Telugu states will progress only when they work together. Later Chandrababu also reiterated that Telugu people who share common language, culture and traditions. Chandrababu ended his speech with 'Jai Telangana, Jai Andhra Pradesh and Jai Bharath' slogan.
