Till now more or less there was a sort of ceasefire between the two political parties TRS and YSRCP. The last there was friction between them in Telangana was when the YSRCP leader Sharmila did her padayaathra in 2012-13. For last two years, YSRCP conceded any gaining ground also to other parties and was virtually confined to Andhra Pradesh. Now suddenly Jagan has realized his vision for Telangana after a long gap and announced committee for the new state. Jagan also said that TRS would be subjected to people’s ire and added that YSRCP would come to power in both AP and TS. After a long gap, it is interesting to see how events unfold in due course given the fact that YSRCP has to appeal to settlers first. This is before making any headway in the new state and they also have to fight to gain Reddy vote bank that is split between TRS, Congress and TDP. In between all this, the important thing is, how will TRS receive this new entry from Jagan and how will they respond.
