As if the current defection of three MPs is not enough, sources say that YSRCP Chief Jagan may face some surprise in Nellore district. There are reports that with PM Narendra Modi’s call for Swacch Bharath, Nellore MP Mekapati Rajmohan Reddy is now coming off roads these days.
And he is doing continuous cleaning in his constituency. Even before this, Mekapati sang praises for Narendra Modi. Now even before Jagan had the precious time to announce the salary of his MLAs for cyclone relief in Vizag, Mekapati announced donating their salaries.
He has done this as Lok Sabha MPs without consulting Jagan at all which has reportedly pushed the YSRCP boss into corner given that he hasn’t made any such important announcement of political importance.
There are some reports that in order to emerge as a Reddy party in Rayalaseema and South Coastal Andhra, BJP under Venkaiah Naidu is luring big band of Reddys and Mekapati who was with Jagan right from his split with Congress may be looking for a Lotus Bloom!
