Revenue from Stamps and Registration is the main source of income for any state. After the division of the state, AP Government is in thought of increasing its revenue from every department. Land registrations are more in Krishna and Guntur districts after the division of the state. The income further increased after Chief Minister CBN was announced capital of the state.
By the end of first six months of FY, Guntur has reached the target of receiving income from Registrations. There are 19 district registrar and 466 Sub Registrar offices exist in AP. As per the sources, Guntur district is on top in getting more revenue at both Registrar and Sub-registrar level. 280% of revenue has recorded in Amaravathy Sub-registrar region. 106% of revenue generated in Guntur district registrar from the registrations.
Guntur, Tenali and Narsarao pet are come under Guntur Registrar region. Guntur has received the highest revenue from Stamp duties followed by Narasarao pet and Tenali. After the capital declared between Guntur and Vijayawada, agreements turned to become registrations. Guntur district has set the goal of achieving 497 crores through Stamps and Registration in this FY.
