It seems the future of some Engineering Colleges and students are in dilemma. Very few admissions have recorded in Engineering Colleges for the year 2014-15. Management of the Engineering Colleges has failed to fulfill the minimum criteria in its first year. It is mandatory for any Engineering College to maintain minimum to get 50 admissions during the first year to sustain in second year. As per the sources, 88 Engineering Colleges were identified having less than 50 admissions recorded out of total 315 Colleges in the state. Reportedly, 2,500 students are attending classes in these Engineering Colleges. College Management has helpless in maintaining the colleges due to lack of enough financial aid. AP Government has planned to shift these students to the nearby Engineering Colleges. Government it’s self wants to shift them to new college instead of asking students to apply for the admissions. Both students and parents have opinion to join in good college where faculty and infrastructure is good than other colleges. They also looking towards the standards of the colleges before join. It’s doubtful whether terms and conditions of AICTE have approved to the shifting.
