Andhra Pradesh CM N Chandrababu Naidu has reportedly lauded the efforts made by Bharti Enterprises Chairman Sunil Mittal in helping restore telecommunication services in North Coastal AP that was badly hit by cyclone Hudhud.
Naidu has written a letter to Mittal where he said that his efforts to organise other service providers for helping the government in restoration works are truly commendable. In the aftermath of the Hudhud cyclone, Mittal personally visited Visakhapatnam.
He also attended a high-level meeting with Naidu on the issue of restoring telecom lines. After the meeting, Naidu had slammed telecom service providers for their zero efforts to ensure lack of connectivity even after two days of Cyclone devastation along the coast.
He had also accused them of being pushed only by profit motive. However, Mittal then offered an assurance that the services could be restored by evening of October 18. TDP cadre is happy that their Babu could even praise someone.
