While AP Chief Minister CBN is busy in inviting investments to AP, APIIC (Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation) is giving finishing touch in creating huge land bank in the state to invite the investments. APIIC shows plenty of empty land in 13 districts of the state that available to set up new industries in the state. As per the reports from APIIC, that there are 1,88,789 acres of land available in the state. Revenue department has identified 90% of the land consists of government land including assigned one and excluding agricultural lands. In addition to 1.8 acres of land, Government has a plan to take back the assigned land which was unused from the industries. Chief Minister CBN is planning to show the availability of three basic amenities like land, power (24x7) and water for setting up the industries in the state. APIIC is in thought of using properly the identified land in Rayalaseema region where water is the main hurdle for the development. Chief Minister CBN meeting with Karnataka Chief Minister Siddharamaiah in Bangalore to seek more water from Tungabhadra to Ananthapur district. Water from Handri-neeva is also being considered for the district. If water problem in Ananthapur district has resolved which is geographically located between Hyderabad and Bengaluru international airports would be favorable industrial zone to the new companies.
