This news is sure to block all minds of the Civils aspirants because of the decision that the Centre is about to announce very soon. The issue is that the Cabinet of PM Narendra Modi has almost finalized on reducing the age limit and even the number of attempts per student.
Don't you think this could be a bad news to all the aspirants? However, few make it formal that it is even posted in websites about the change and the government instituions say that thy haven't received any kind of intimation or GO released yet. It seems these kind of proposals were given by the present Civil servants itself!
According to sources, the age limit for general category is lowered from 30 to 26, for Other Backward Classes from 33 to 28 and for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe categories it will be down from 35 to 29. The sources also add that the number of attempts for a General Category is just three from now on.
However, the number of attempts for OBC,SC and ST are to be remain unchanged. This will surely affect the students who are aspiring to crack the exam even in their possible last attempt. However, don't you think the opposition has a lot to do about this issue. So, let's wait and see for any official confirmation.
