There have been apprehensions among Tollywood folks that the film industry may have to be shifted from Hyderabad given the TRS government’s antipathy towards Andhras, who control a major part of the industry.
But with KCR becoming close to Superstar Krishna and Mohan Babu’s family as well as Ramoji and with Talasani and Tummala, who are close to film industry becoming TRS ministers, Tollywood is heaving a sigh of relief.
But at the same time, sources say that AP cabinet minister Ganta Srinivas Rao is particular that at least some part of the industry should be brought to Vizag. In this regard, sources say that he is eyeing a particular stretch of land.
This is the existing zoo located in the Kambalakonda wildlife sanctuary and also the adjoining green hills and valleys and plans to denotify them to accommodate film industry while insiders say this may not be an easy task!
