As usual, his followers are alleging that party didn’t identify Rudraraju. Reportedly, Rudraraju met AP Chief Minister CBN and take assurance from the Chief Minister on importance after join in TDP. As per the sources, another Congress Senior Singam Basava Punnaiah is also looking towards TDP.
Basava Punnaiah was elected to the Parliament from Tenali Segment in 1989 as Congress nominee. Basava Punnaiah defended CBN’s land pooling policy in Legislative Council where as Leader of Congress party C. Ramachandraiah opposed in Legislative Council. There is one common similarity of all MLCs who joined in TDP recently. The tenure of K.V.V. SATYANARAYANA RAJU (Teachers), JUPUDI PRABHAKAR RAO – Nominated and R PADMARAJU (Elected by MLAs) will comes to an end by March’15. MLC Elections might hold for 19 vacancies in this year including 8 new positions as per the Telangana bill. There is no guarantee that CBN gave one more chance to them.
