On one side AP Jenco has planning to counter Summer affect, Telangana Jenco has just realized the grim the situation in summer season. In a review meeting with Telangana officials, Chief Minister KCR was angered on Jenco CMD Prabhakar Rao. KCR is questioned Prabhakar Rao why Telangana Jenco not approached High Court on Krishnapatnam power? KCR asked the officials to stubborn on getting power from Krishnapatnam Power Project.
Since last 9 months, Krishnapatnam generates electricity on experimental basis. Telangana should get 53.89% of Power form Krishnapatnam but AP denying supplying to Telangana. AP Government has intentionally not announced the Commercial Operations Date (COD) to give Power to Telangana. KCR suggested Telangana Jenco officials to fight legally on Krishnapatnam. Prabhakar Rao said that we are waiting for COD of Krishnapatnam project to go further action.
Telangana Jenco officials are helpless in supplying the power to the farmers for Rabi crops in summer. They predict pathetic situation in Telangana in coming summer season. Telangana feels sigh of relief if it gets power from Krishnapatnam. Hinduja Power project will also starts production in next 3 months. Telangana Jenco expects that AP will do the same as what it did in Krishnapatnam. They expect that AP Jenco would not announced COD in Hinduja also to obstruct the power supply to Telangana state.
