Hyderabad based Pharmaceutical company Divi’s laboratories limited will likely to establish in Kakinada. AP government is seriously considering the request of the company for the allotment of 500 acres near Kakinada. AP government is likely to come up with the approval in next cabinet meeting. Divi’s select seaside place for the green project requires a marine outfall among the other things. That’s the reason company has selected Kakinada for Greenfield project. The company had established it’s first plant in Hyderabad on 500 acres and second one was established in Vizag over 350 acres in 2002. According to the company sources, Divi’s likely to be invested 750 crores in two phases on this project. Company wants AP Government to develop infrastructure facilities like double lane from Kakinada via Vantimamidi to Annavaram. Once the project starts operations there would be movement of 100 tankers on every day.
