There has been some interesting piece of news coming everyday from both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana State regarding how the states are being administered. While on one hand, TS looks like a revenue surplus state, AP is suffering from revenue deficit.
At the same time, while TS lacks power, AP is not getting water. Recently a leading Telugu daily has reported an interesting comparison between both of them. It says KCR is Kubera who has more money but is unable to display any administrative acumen.
It describes AP CM Chandrababu Naidu as the one with some good sense of administration and ambitious plan, but he lacks the money required to bankroll developmental activities. This comparison is also drawing similar reactions from the common man too.
The overall result and message is very clear. The forceful bifurcation of Andhra Pradesh has resulted in not the birth of two good states but the decimation of a very good state which had the potential to grow big and became a victim of greedy politics.
