The Chandrababu Naidu government has reportedly proposed the construction of nearly 15 buildings as well as complexes in the capital region of AP during first phase and in this regard has reportedly sought central funding.

In a report, which is being sent to the Centre, the state marked for the first phase of construction, the Raj Bhavan, legislative assembly , CM's camp office-cum-residence, legislative council, ministers' residences, state secretariat complex, one central government office complex, high court complex, utility offices, government guest houses followed security offices and a central command centre.

AP government is expecting these high-rises to be operational by 2019 for which the detailed project reports (DPR) for these buildings are being prepared within 45 days and once again sent to the Centre.

These structures are to be coming up at a cost of Rs 20,000 crore, the state with the secretariat pegged at Rs 8,200 crore, assembly and council costing Rs 1,125 crore, Raj Bhavan and CM camp office are priced at Rs 90 crore while ministers quarters and government guest houses would cost Rs 110 crore.
