Andhra Pradesh is heading towards a severe financial crisis and the state is even struggling to fund the salaries of the employees every month. But even during this crisis time, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu is wasting money for his special flights. The state so far spent 16 Crore for Chandrababu's tours.

From the time he sworn in as the Chief Minister to February 8th, Chandrababu Naidu had used special flights on 67 occasions. These trips costed the state 16 Crore. Usually Special flights are not used for foreign trips but CM used them to go there too. Recently Finance department cleared all those bills.

Chandrababu Naidu flew to Singapore on Club-1 Special flight of Delhi. The cost of his trip was a whopping 50 Lakhs. Chandrababu is extensively using the special flights of Navayuga, Krishnapatnam, GVK, GMR with nine and fifteen seating capacity. However it is said that given the security threats on the Chief Minister, the Special flights travel is imminent.

It is known that back in 2003, Chandra Babu was attacked by Maoists near Alipiri while he was going to give Pattu Vastrams to the Lord Balaji. Chandra Babu and the leaders along with him were grievously injured but just managed to save their lives in the landmine blasts. Since then Chandrababu is given Z Plus - Category security.
