The YSR Congress party has become a nightmare for both congress and TDP parties. At first, many thought it will not be able to sustain but today the situation is such that though Y S Jagan is in jail, many important members from both parties are jumping into YSR Congress. But it is heard that Jagan is now having a big fear.
This is the fear of getting tagged as a religious party. Recently there was an issue on Y S Vijayamma carrying Bible wherever she went. Secondly, there is news that Jagan’s brother-in-law Brother Anil has been showing a lot of interest to associate with the party activities. Though he is originally a Brahmin, Brother Anil is today the noted Christian preacher.
It is true that all parties and politics run on the basis of caste and religion but it is never spoken in open. So, Jagan’s fear is that if they get marked as a religion based party it will definitely damage the party image. In order to avoid that, he is doing his best to keep things clean. Let us see what happens.
