AP Chief Minister CBN has taken seriously on development of Information & Technology (IT) sector in Andhra Pradesh. IT biggies have showed very much interest in looking towards Visakhapatnam in the state. CBN is in thought of constructing Twin Towers in Visakhapatnam. Proposed new Towers will be located in 10 acres of land in the city outskirts.
AP Chief Minister CBN is competing to extend IT operations in AP with Hyderabad Hi-Tech City and Mind Space. Co-incidentally, both these were constructed in Hyderabad when CBN was Chief Minister of United Andhra Pradesh. AP Government has already invited the young entrepreneurs with “Startup Village”. Signature Tower in port city as part of efforts to promote the city as global IT Hub.
APIIC has invited applications for Consultant for Signature Tower by end of February 25th. The newly selected Consultant will start working on Detailed Project Report (DPR) from March 16th onwards. Signature Tower will attract many IT companies in the world. IT operations of Wipro and Tech Mahindra might start in Signature Tower.
There are convention centers, and shopping malls also in Signature Tower. AP Government has planned to build newly IT Towers in addition to Signature Tower in Vizag which will be larger than “Hi-Tech City” in Hyderabad.
