Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Friday told that his government will not perform in an undemocratic way with relate to media's entry to the state secretariat. He, nevertheless, told some regulation is needed on access of journalists into the secretariat.
He will be talking this matter with journalists' representatives’ tomorrow afternoon at the Press Academy and will take their plans on how to go about it, he said. The chief minister was speaking at the TRS headquarters after reviewing the party's membership drive.
Chandrasekhar Rao also told that the recent open entry requires some alterations. “We have not taken any decision on media's access to the secretariat but the issue did come up in our discussions, “he said.
Earlier on Friday, some journalists from the visual media, demonstrated outside the CM's office at the secretariat demanding that the government quit its idea to restrict entry of reporters into the secretariat.
