Air services from different companies have increased their operations from Visakhapatnam soon after the division of the state. Flow of tourists has increased to Visakhapatnam for many reasons. Malaysian carrier Malindo Air first started its direct services from Kuala Lumpur to Visakhapatnam on February 15th.
Malaysia’s another airline carrier Air Asia announced to launch three new routes including direct flight to Vizag from May 07th. Air Asia would provide direct services to Visakhapatnam from Kuala Lumpur thrice in a week. Flight starts from Kuala Lumpur at 7.55 pm and reached to Vizag at 9.10 pm on same day.
Air Asia has decided to fixed ticket fare for the journey as 1699/-. Air Asia said that this will be starting offer only. Those who booked the ticket between March 10th and March 22nd are eligible to fly in Air Asia. Like Spice Jet, Air Asia is famous for providing services with low cost.
Air Asia is confident and believe that service to Visakhapatnam would get success. Indigo is expected to increase the number of services to Kolkata, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Chennai from Vizag and is planning to utilize Vizag airport for night parking.
