The Andhra Pradesh Transmission Corporation Limited has reportedly given a similar sarcastic reaction over how TS CM K Chandrasekhar Rao had thanked his AP counterpart Naidu for forcing Telangana in find its own means for meeting the electricity demand of the state.

AP Transco reportedly said it welcomes the decision taken by Sri KCR garu, that TS doesn’t need any power from AP and added that KCR should pass necessary instructions to authorities to for not taking the current level of power from AP.

Transco requested KCR to convey his decision to Southern Regional Load Dispatch Centre and central government in written terms that they would be closing now all disputes over power sharing.

AP Transco stated in a press release that AP is facing an additional financial burden of Rs 2 crore and Rs 3 crore to buy power from outside since it has been supplying Telangana 10-12 million units of power everyday and now it can save money and requested TS to pay the due owed of Rs 1,200 crore to AP's Eastern Discom.
