The local body elected representatives away from corrupt practices, Telangana CM K Chandrasekhara Rao on Friday increased salaries for Zilla Parishad chair persons, ZPTC members, MPTC members and other local leaders with effect from the financial year 2015.
The present salaries and the increased salaries of the local body elected representatives are: ZP Chairman : From Rs 7,500 to Rs 1,00,000 ZPTC members: From Rs 2,250 to Rs 10,000 MPTC: From Rs 750 to Rs 5000 Mayor: From Rs 14000 to Rs 50,000 Deputy mayor: From Rs 8000 to Rs 25,000 Corporators : From Rs 4000 to Rs 6000 MPP: From Rs 1,500 to Rs 10000 Sarpanches: From Rs 1000- 1500 to Rs 5000 Special grade municipal chairman: From Rs 10,000 to Rs 15,0000
