Discussion on Pattiseema project is creating tensions with accusations and counter accusations between YSRCP and TDP in Andhra Pradesh assembly. Both Jagan Mohan Reddy and CM Chandra Babu are involved in heated arguments.
Jagan is demanding AP Government and Chandra Babu Naidu to first complete Polavaram project before going on to Pattiseema. His party is going to the extent of stalling the assembly for the same. This is shocking all as both Jagan Mohan Reddy and Chandra Babu Naidu are from the same Rayalaseema region and completion of Pattiseema will turn the region fertile but why Jagan is opposing it steadfast.
It is known that Jagan's dad former CM YS.Rajasekhar Reddy started Polavaram and announced that he would complete the project at any cost by getting national status. But till now no developments happened in Polavaram. Jagan's actions show that completion of polavaram gives credit to him so much so that he can claim that he ensured its completion even when he is the leader of the opposition.
Jagan also has good contacts with the contractors who bagged polavaram project. Even if Jagan don't get the credit, Chandra Babu will never get. So Jagan is hellbent on Polavaram completion. At the sametime TDP don't want to give credit to Jagan and evne if it completes, BJP is keen to take the credit as it is planning to claim giving it national status. So TDP is talking of Pattiseema. However Jagan is opposing Pattiseema since his dad YSR never bothered the region and if Chandra Babu completes it, entire credit will go to him. If Rayalaseema starts getting water and its water problem gets solved, then people start supporting TDP and Chandra Babu. So Jagan is opposing Pattiseeme vehemently.
