Well, the powerful Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi has lashed out at the opposition for spreading lies about the Land Acquisition act. Modi said that the government will never go against the interest of the people and will pledge to do all needed facilities in the land taken.
Speaking on the Mann ki Baat Program on All India Radio, Modi has fired the opposition for spreading false allegations on BJP. He said that this bill was not able to discuss in Rajya Sabha because of the Congress men and also the government lacks majority. He said that the bill was being mis-leaded for political reasons and alerted people not to fall in that pit.
He said that this spread of false news is being done to keep the farmer poor and these will not help the country to develop soon. He also revealed that many farmers wrote him letters and felt ashamed of himself reading them all. He said that their pain has touched his heart and will work to resolve them all. He confirmed farmers not to listen to the lies that are being spread and asked them to believe him.
