Is Prime Minister Modi and his BJP led NDA government at Centre saving Sonia Gandhi's son in law, Robert Vadra from all the cases. It is known that Robert Vadra's land deals in Haryana during Congress rule shocked all. Comptroller and Auditor General in its report found many discrepancies in the undue favours made by the previous Haryana government ruled by Congress.
During last general elections and even in the Haryana assembly elections BJP led shrill campaign against Sonia- Son in law Robert Vadra nexus and promised to take stringent action against him once they come to power.
Now BJP is in power in Centre and in Haryana and on the final day of Haryana assembly session, report handed over by the CAG found that Vadra's company, Skylight Hospitality old 3.5 acres of land in Gurgaon near Delhi to realty giant DLF for 58 crores in 2008. This deal brought whopping profits for Vadra and the same was cancelled by Ashok Khemka, IAS officer who was transferred with in days.
But when it came to action based on CAG report, BJP is going silent. Many suspect PM Modi is planning to save Sonia Gandhi's son in law in return for Congress party's cooperation in the Rajya Sabha as they lack numbers there for the smooth functioning of the Government and passages of crucial bills.
