Democracy is for the people,of the people and by the people. With so many parties many times people of the country feel that they have one or the other option to choose from. Right thinking people feel that democracy gives the best form of government for the people making them part of the decision making guiding the future of the country.

However it seems people are taken for a ride by all political parties as they are sleeping with the enemies external and internal. Though there are so many parties for people to choose from, all the parties after fighting bitterly during the elections, jump from one party to another only to enjoy power. If in opposition they only try to save themselves from the various corruption cases.
One can never forget how Congress party used to blackmail Laloo Prasad Yadav of RJD, Jayalalitha of AIADMK,Karunanidhi of DMK, Mayavathi of BJP, Mulayam Singh of SP, Jagan Mohan Reddy of YSRCP,Shibhu Soren of JMM and many more. Whenever they are angry, they used to unleash CBI to investigate the corrupt cases and when they are in alliance, they used to go slow on their cases.
BJP is no different and even regional parties do the same. In Andhra Pradesh and Telangana TRS,TDP,YSRCP,MIM do indulge in the same politics. One cannot forget how Balakrishna was saved in the shooting incident when Chandra Babu was in opposition and his bitter enemy YS.Rajasekhar Reddy ruled the state. This is only one example and there are many such cases. In Jammu and Kashmir PDP and NC always support extremists,terrorists and pro pakistani elements and even release them. But Congress and BJP in their quest to power never oppose them.
