AP’s new capital Amaravathi is attracting the attention of PSU’s, nationalized banks and other corporate companies. Chief Minister CBN’s new industrial policy in the state is added another advantage for the development of the capital region. Every corporate company and banks are looking for room to accommodate in capital region.


NABARD which gives finance to the banks for agriculture and rural development is first took initiative to step into Tullur. NABARD wants to shift its regional office from Hyderabad to Andhra Pradesh as early as possible within a year. The biggest nationalized bank in India, State Bank of India is also in queue for space booking in capital region in AP. SBI has over 900 branches in AP and it has only 433 in Telangana.


The SBI has plans to create common headquarters of two states in Amaravathi. Pi Datacenter is setting up in capital area over 5 lakh square feet of constructed area in Mangalagiri. As per the buzz, 12 central institutions such as Reserve Bank of India are in search for finding a place in new capital.
