A month ahead of the first anniversary of Telangana's creation, one of the senior  minister in the TRS government K Taraka Rama Rao is into the mode of attack at the Narendra Modi government for being more generous to Andhra Pradesh ruled by NDA to combine TDP over Telangana.

Telangana supported Andhra by supplying electrical

KTR stated that if Central Government had been more helpful towards Telangana, the state would be more benefited. He said to remember the help Telangana done when Andhra Pradesh was reeling under the impact of cyclonic storm Hudhud last year, Telangana supported Andhra by supplying electrical equipment worth Rs 20 crore. He also said that to give Telangana its share of IAS officers, the Centre took almost nine months and bifurcation of the High Court not yet completed while the state employees division by a Centre-appointed committee also needs to be completed. He would draw a comparison with Andhra Pradesh.

Andhra Pradesh and Telangana over issues

If Telangana is willing to compete, it would be with the states like Maharashtra, Karnataka, Gujarat and Tamil Nadu. These are the states Telangana to compete against, he said. With the TRS Government nearing to completion of one year in office on June 2, KTR states that the friction between Andhra Pradesh and Telangana over issues like water sharing is natural but Telangana Government has behaved in a mature way than what they expected. "Congress is a party that has almost reached its expiry date. It's like a medicine, which has reached its expiry date, he concluded.
