The Mumbai Indians know what it feels like to be IPL champions, and the also know they can come back from worse starts in the IPL. Last season, they have lost their first five matches and came back roaring to win the seven of their last nine group games to make it to the playoffs. Having clinched the coveted title in 2013 and after failing to defend the title the last year, Mumbai Indians are keen to make a telling statement this season but once again they started with losing streak.

Mumbai Indians

This year Mumbai Indians have lost four consecutive matches against Kolkata Knight Riders, Kings XI Punjab,  Rajasthan Royals and Chennai Super Kings respectively. However they once again staged a spectacular comeback winning four games on a trot.

Captain Rohit Sharma

Batting legend and Mumbai Indians’ icon Sachin Tendulkar seem to have few words of wisdom for the players and the captain Rohit Sharma. Ricky Pontinng as coach, Jonty Rhodes as Fielding coach, Anil Kumble as Chief Mentor and Bullet Bowler Shane Bond as Bowling coach helped them refresh their strategies and bring them to the winning streak. With strong display of winning four matches on a trot, they are well in the line to the favourites of the tournament.
