With a stoic anti—Chandrababu stance, she won as an MP and was in the good books of Congress leadership there by securing good ministry posts during UPA rule. But her way of handling bifurcation drama, one sided drama with Sonia and other stance before public has given her a lot ofnegative publicity.
Knowing fully aware how her father was a dynamic leader who worked for all regions in AP equally, she could never use his legacy to genuinely fight for United AP or even for the rights of AP. After Congress defeat, she quickly changed political colours and shifted to BJP and was backed by her bête noire Naidu.

Again even in BJP she seems to be hell bent on appeasing the leadership than standing for the rights of AP. It is already one year and major commitments to AP are pending, but she is now still stuck to her political prominence than people’s issues. Her criticism of Shivaji, who recently undertook a fast for special status also didn’t go well. Andhra people feel that she is a curse for them unlike her father!
