The Central government seems to be having a tough time dealing with the Special Status issue of the Andhra Pradesh State. Even though the Central leaders have opened up about the Centre's plan about the special status, the state politicos seem not to calm down anymore. Few senior leaders of BJP said that there is nothing called Special Status in future.

Pressure mounts on Centre

Meanwhile, other Central leaders said that the government is planning to counter the questions of the other states in regard to the issue and so is taking time. The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu promised to the people in a meeting at Vizianagaram that the state is trying hard to increase pressure on the Centre until it grants Special Status to the state.

Chandrababu supports protests

It is known that Chandrababu has been supporting the protests of the people against the Centre for the grant of Special Status. The Andhra Pradesh state has been suffering a huge financial crunch after the previous government supported to divided the state and so the support for Special Status protests is increasing day by day. However, the Centre is yet to make an announcement about the Special Status issue.
