Andhra Pradesh CM Chandrababu Naidu's public utterances which are alternately criticizing and also defending the Centre is reportedly confusing AP state BJP leaders as well as senior leaders pf his own party TDP. Recently Naidu's support to the anti—BJP stir which was launched by actor Sivaji has now reportedly raised many eyebrows.
Sivaji is now rattling the state BJP
Speaking recently at a public meeting held in Vizianagaram, Naidu reportedly said he extends his full support to the indefinite fast which has been taken up by Sivaji where he demanded a special status for AP. The TDP boss’ unexpected support to Sivaji is now rattling the state BJP and also TDP cadres.
Modi government
In fact, the TDP leaders were earlier requested to refrain from publicly criticizing BJP . Naidu had recently criticized the Central government after the 14th finance commission announced its paltry allocation of funds for AP. Again after the Centre granted some much needed funds for the new capital city and also for bridging the fiscal gap on March 31, Naidu, showered praises on Modi government.
TDP leaders however are happy that since he is balanced politician he is well aware as to when he should exert pressure and when to actually play safe. But AP BJP is not that happy and is reportedly planning to deploy few leaders who will do the same job of praising Naidu and also criticizing him.
