Deeply anguished by Telangana chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao's comments where he admonished him not to hang on to Hyderabad and quickly go back to own state, has reportedly prompted AP CM Chandrababu Naidu in deciding to shift to Vijayawada in another 20 days, sources say.

Naidu also convinced his cabinet

Naidu also reportedly instructed all of his ministers to start their offices in Vijayawada well before June 2. Media reports say that Naidu was visibly upset by KCR's remarks some weeks ago on his continued stay in Hyderabad, Naidu also convinced his cabinet colleagues that governing AP from Hyderabad is earning them a lot of criticism.

As a result, the AP cabinet which had its meeting on Tuesday had announced decision for shifting to Vijayawada immediately and work from there until new capital city is constructed. According to sources, Naidu is expected to commence working from his Vijayawada camp office from June 2nd  and now even other ministers are all set to follow suit.

Yanamala Ramakrishnudu

A cabinet sub-committee headed by finance minister Yanamala Ramakrishnudu added that they would ensure that most of the departments as well as the staff shift to new capital region very soon. Instead of announcing and going back, looks like this time Naidu has decided and announced the shift to be planned immediately.
