Jupudi Prabhakar from Mala community was criticized TDP President personally when he was in YSRCP got second chance as MLC in Governor Quota. As per political analysts, Jupudi received political jackpot by getting another chance as MLC but this time his tenure would be two years only. TDP has selected Jupudi Prabhakar Rao in place of Paladugu Venktara Rao who died last year. Jupudi joined in TDP after getting differences with Balineni in YSRCP.

Though there are many aspirants in race in TDP, CBN has selected Jupudi’s candidature and surprised many in the party. Why Babu selected Jupudi? What is the reason in giving chance to him? This is the discussion among the leaders within the party happened. It seems that CBN seeks political benefit with Jupudi selection.
In 2014 general election, SC/ST
votes spilt between TDP and YSRCP (received major percentage) from Congress
party. Mala community is the strongest in AP where as Madiga community is strong
in Telangana. TDP wants to gain more Mala community vote bank from YSRCP after
getting victory in Amalapuram and Bapatla reserved Parliament segments. Second
reason for giving chance to Jupudi is for his strong criticism against YSRCP.
No one knows that CBN gave another chance to Jupudi after 2 years but Jupudi is
enjoying for getting chance.
